If there is ever a place you wish to visit for an extraordinary Fourth of July experience, make it Skagway.
The day is filled with parades, hot dog and pie eating contests, arm wrestling, slow bike races, ducky derbies, dancing, music and the list goes on and on.

We were in town for a family wedding in June and decided to extend our trip to include the 4th. Sooooo glad we did! What a great and festive vibe.
